The Role
The Vehicle Technician is a key role within our aftersales function ensuring customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motor vehicles of all types. You will have a flair for working directly with customers and need to be confident in liaising with our customers to give the very best recommendation for the vehicle and business needs. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the service and maintenance on a range of vehicles, all whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Carry out minor to major mechanical repairs
- Be competent in using diagnostic equipment
- Able to diagnose SRS and ABS systems
- Able to interpret and complete paperwork
- Confidently discuss issues with customers
- Have a friendly and good telephone manner
- Be approachable for our customers
The Person
- You must possess a relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3/4
- You must have experience of working in a busy workshop
- Your own full set of Tools
- You must hold a full UK Driving Licence
